Millennium Garden in Plymouth The Millennium Garden, located on the grounds of the Plymouth Community Center, has quickly become a cherished part of our community for its beauty and tranquility. It features a variety of flower gardens, trails, walkways, fountains, a labyrinth and open space. The Millennium Garden is available for the community to enjoy, as well as for private rentals and events.

The Millennium Garden also provides a perfect scene for outdoor events, such as weddings and graduation parties, and photo shoots.

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Weddings & Special Events

Located next to the Plymouth Community Center, the Millennium Garden is a popular venue for wedding ceremonies due to its natural beauty and peaceful presence. Guests will be in awe of this "natural oasis" in the middle of the city. The garden is available May through October.

The garden can accommodate up to 300 people in audience-style seating.

Rates

Rent the garden Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a four-hour block (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3-7 p.m.)

Additional fees:

Deposit: $500 refundable damage deposit is due 60 days before the event date
Chairs: $3.25-$5.50 each. White chairs (resin or folding) must be rented for an additional fee through 55 Party Rental.

Rates include:

Sound system with microphone
One-hour rehearsal the Wednesday or Thursday before the wedding

Rates do not include chairs, tables or tents, indoor reception space, back-up space due to weather or rehearsal dinner rental. White chairs (resin or folding) must be rented for an additional fee through 55 Party Rental.

Policies and Guidelines

A photography permit is required for those who will be charging for photography services.
Permit is valid for one calendar year (January-December).
$75 permit fee is non-refundable and due before first photo session is booked.
All photo sessions must be scheduled in advance. Contact the Plymouth Community Center at communitycenter@plymouthmn.gov or 763-509-5280.
Weekend hours are limited due to paid wedding rentals and there may be more than one photo shoot scheduled at any time.
Photographers should check in at the Plymouth Community Center front desk upon arrival to receive a media pass. Passes must be returned to the front desk when the session is complete.

Buy a Brick

Help pave the walkways that meander through Millennium Garden. The Buy a Brick program is the cornerstone of fundraising efforts, and bricks can be personalized with an engraving of your choice. Cost is $175 per brick.

Wedding bricks: A specially designed brick is available only for past, present and future wedding couples who are married in the Millennium Garden. Your brick will be placed in the center aisle of the garden reserved only for this style of brick.
